It has been a very hectic few weeks here in sixth class. We have been reading the book Reaching The Heights. We have just completed it. It is very good for all ages.We have been learning about the Irish war of independence. In 1916 the Easter Rising took place. Irish rebels surrendered, 15 leaders were brought to Kilmainham Jail and they were shot..We have started playing the tin whistle. We know how to play Mary had a little lamb, twinkle twinkle and dawning of the day.We hope to  improve as we go along. We have finished fractions. It was difficult but we got through them in the end. Parent teacher meetings have finished now. We hope we all got good reports. We have just started doing ActivEngage problem solving on the laptops. It is very fun and better than doing it in are copies. We hope to post a few more blogs in the upcoming  future and learn a few more songs in the tin whistle.
