In school so far we have learnt about Martin Luther King and how he fought for the rights of black people and The Suffragettes and how they fought for the right to vote. Did you know Irish women only got the right to vote in 1918 and that the age for women to vote was 31 and for men it was 21.We also did really fun art like making knight's armour out of tin foil and made African masks out of coloured paper.We have enjoyed Music also, like singing Spancill Hill by The Corrs and the World Cup song Waving flag.
